| DOCENTS
AND/OR SURVIVOR SPEAKERS
Volunteers are needed to teach the history and lessons of
the Holocaust. The HMLC is looking for volunteers to serve
as docents who have the following qualifications:
- Flexible
schedules (weekdays, Tuesday evenings, and Sunday afternoons)
- Must
be willing to work with diverse populations, including
children and adults
- Good
communication skills
- Knowledge
of European history, World War II, and the Holocaust is
desirable, but not necessary.
Training
will be provided.
EDITORS
Volunteers
are needed to help edit transcripts for the Oral History
Project. Editors will review and edit transcripts from the
oral histories of Holocaust survivors who live in St. Louis.
Training will be provided. However, editors should possess
the following qualifications:
- Flexible
schedules
- Good
grammar skills
- Good
listening skills
GENERAL
VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES
Volunteers
are needed in other capacities such as general office help,
phone calling, and bookstore sales. For a complete list

Museum is open to the public and free of charge.

HMLC is located in the Kopolow Building on the Jewish Community
